Vriesea Hieroglyphica is a one of a kind. Foliage plants are cool and this is one of the best. The brilliant emerald green, glossy leaves are spineless and have the most dramatic dark patterns across the surface, that you can imagine. It mostly enjoys a more subdued lighting situation, but can take a little brightness if you do it sparingly. Even though the "lemoney" look really contrasts the dark stripes, I think the deep green is better. It grows to a nice size if given some room. The sale plant is like the one in the first 4 pictures.<br>Can we talk???<br>You know I’m not one for disclaimers and warnings in my listings. I like to keep it simple. But this shipping thing has me going bonkers so here are my thoughts. Now I use UPS and they have been performing well, it seems. I use Ebay shipping to print my labels and they give a nice discount for using their services. The result is that the actual shipping cost is lower (sometimes as much as 40-50% lower) than the price quoted to the customer. I have no way of knowing the actual savings until the package is weighed and measured.
